This will be a Teach-In event hosted by GLNAWI on the campus of Michigan State University. Rooms 105 and 107 South Kedzie Hall on the corner of Farm Ln. and Auditorium Rd.

Speaker Program 2-5pm

  • Dr. Dahlia Wasfi M.D. speaking on the Affects of War on Iraqis particularly women and children. (view Dr. Wasfi's profile here)
  • Michael Lawrence - MSU Professor of Law, will present on the topic - Bush and the Constitution: A Case for Impeachment. Visit his blog
  • A U.S. Veteran of the ongoing war in Iraq will share experiences and reflections about the war. Other Veteran stories will be read as excerpts from the book Operation Homecoming
  • Other topics are planned to include:
    • Oil Connections of Iraq War
    • War Profiteering, and Concerns Over U.S.
    • Tensions with Iran

  • The Ground Truth - Hailed as 'powerful' and 'unflinching,' Patricia Foulkrod's documentary, The Ground Truth, centers itself on ordinary men and women's experience during their deployment in Iraq.
