GLNAWI is deeply concerned about the increasing tension and antagonistic posture
with which the Bush Administration continues to build with Iran. Many parallels can be
drawn between the Administration's buildup toward the disastrous and ongoing war in
Iraq and the events and statements that are now being applied to Iran. GLNAWI is
strongly opposed to any preemptive military strike against Iran, which we recognize
would have widespread regional implications which could be far graver than the spiraling
situation in Iraq today.
